THE NIGHT GAME 2026,
like last year, will be held in 2 parts:
DAY 1 and DAY 2.
DAY 1,
to challenge yourself across generations
DAY 2,
to challenge yourself by skill level
And for the grand finale,
come together with all the participants to watch the ultimate showdown:
SUPER OPEN.

If a category reaches full capacity, entries for that category will be accepted on a waiting-list basis.
If the total participant limit for each day has not been reached by around early August, additional spots may be added to categories that are already full.

Men's Winner: 200,000¥
Women's Winner: 100,000¥
*Prize amounts include withholding tax
QUALIFIERS
Routes & duration by category:
・U-15 and younger / FUN / ENTRY: 12 routes x 60-minute session format
・U-17 / U-19 / Over40&50 / MIDDLE / SUPER MIDDLE: 10 routes x 60-minute session format
・All Other Categories: 8 routes x 60-minute session format
QUALIFIERS RULES
Each route may be attempted up to 5 times.
Routes in the qualification round are labelled from ① to ㊿.
The number on the tag corresponds directly to the points earned for sending that route.
Each category has specific routes designed.

All routes have a ZONE.
Reaching the ZONE awards half of the route's total points.
For every failed attempt, a 0.1 point deduction will be applied to the points earned for that route.
Final rankings are determined by the total points earned across all routes.

Please note that using all 5 attempts on every available route will designate the end of your qualification round, even if you have time left.
FINALS RULES
・Sudden Death – 2 Rounds: 1 route x 4 minutes for each round
IFSC World Cup-style finals format (no separate observation time).
For all categories except FUN, ENTRY, and OPEN.
The top 6 competitors from each category’s qualification round advance to the finals. Finalists climb in order from lowest to highest qualifying rank. Ranking is based on the highest number of zones / tops completed and on the number of attempts.
In case of a tie, the first final round and the qualification rankings are used as a tiebreaker.
No buzzer beater.
Round 1: Top 6 from qualifiers advance
Round 2: Top 3 from Round 1 advance
*The top 6 competitors in the OPEN category will advance to the SUPER OPEN qualifiers.
SUPER OPEN QUALIFIERS
・On-sight "belt conveyor" format: 3 routes × 5 minutes each
25 points for a TOP, 10 points for a ZONE.
For every failed attempt, a 0.1 point deduction will be applied to the points earned for that route.
Rankings are determined by the total points earned across all 3 routes.
SUPER OPEN FINALS
・Sudden Death – 2 Rounds: 1 route x 5 minutes for each round
IFSC World Cup-style finals format (with separate observation time).
The top 6 competitors from the SUPER OPEN qualification round advance to the finals(12 competitors in total, 6 men / women combined).
Finalists climb in order from lowest to highest qualifying rank. Ranking is based on the highest number of zones / tops completed and on the number of attempts.
In case of a tie, the first final round and the qualification rankings are used as a tiebreaker.
No buzzer beater.

*Shinagawa Rocky's parking lot will not be available on the day of the competition. Please use public transportation or a nearby paid parking lot.
